School Work

Every day that Andrew goes to daycare, he comes home with a little sheet recording all of his daily accomplishments.  Such as who he played with, how many times he crapped his pants, and what he ate - I think his teachers LIE on this - the kid won't eat anything at home but he eats carrots at daycare...what? Although the kid naps at daycare and does not at home - so who knows?

He also comes home with projects.  This is supposed to be a dog.

I am thinking perhaps he had some help with this turtle...

And here we have a sampling of some of Grace's latest work.  She comes home with stacks every day.  And each of them has a sticker on it.  The kindergarten at her school is single-handedly keeping the sticker industry in business.

I love that she now draws real pictures.  The kind I remember drawing, with the sun in the corner, a blue line for the sky, etc.  So cute!

In case you can't see the comment or decipher the drawing, if Gracie were a farmer she would give a cow a bath.  Love that she chose cleaning something for her farmer duty!

Gracie's class has a letter of the week each week.  They make a little letter book and bring it home each Friday.  Each Friday I look at it and throw it away.  Apparently, I was supposed to be saving them all year and then create an alphabet book.  Whoops.

  1. Maybe some other kid eats off of Andrew's plate?! There's no way he ate oranges, peas, and carrots for lunch!

Also, I like how Gracie decorated her ox's head with pink and green stripes. It's very Lilly Pulitzer.
