the baby pool is open for the season

Today we got out the baby pool and the kids had a blast. 

Grace was inspired by the hot weather to sing and dance along to "party in the usa".  Thanks JuJu!

Green Eggs & Ham

Grace has been into the book lately so we decided it would be fun to have green eggs and ham for lunch today.

Looks kind of gross, doesn't it?

butter

The other night for dinner Grace asked for butter on her rice, so I put a piece in her bowl. A few minutes later she asked for more butter and the rice was untouched. This is why.

This is an old post I started last week and finally have gotten around to posting....on a day of rain and 40 degree temps.....

The outfit he is wearing here was one of Mark's from when he was little.  The size said "3T"....

The weather lately has been (for the most part) absolutely gorgeous.  So far we have done a lot of yardwork, changed the screens, (all 7 of them) and some planting. 

Grace had a ball helping me wash them.  We are starting her young on the manual labor.  She said she would wash all the screens at PopPop and JuJu's as well.  Since Andrew is now pretty mobile, he spends time outdoors in his little cage.

Sunday night we grilled out, had pasta salad and watermelon and ate it outside!  This type of dining is usually reserved for July and August.  Now Grace asks to eat outside everynight.

Plus, I love showing off Andrews chunky legs. They are so soft and squishy!

last week....a little late

Grace and Andrew have started to play together a little bit. Andrew just adores her.....

And Grace is very sweet with him.  She loves to make him smile, sing to him, and show him how the toys work.  She is quick to encourage him and say "Good job Baby Andrew!".
